“Where The Magic Happens”

On this episode of MTV Cribs, no shark tank, no 10 car garage or Cristal champagne – just thrifty, blogger realness ya’ll. On a serious note, I got a very sweet message from a new reader wherein with humor, I was asked what my desk actually looks like. This was in reference to the title: “From The Desk of Haute Danielle” on this blog. So, here you guys go…. this is the space where I shop, Facebook, YouTube, look at funny pictures, read the news (real news), prove to myself that Kim Kardashian’s butt is full of fillers (Go on, look at photos from a few years ago. I’ll wait….. You’re back? I hate to say I told you so but, told you.), create, draw, design & blog to you lovely people. Without further adieu….

The desk is from Ikea, the chair is from Crate & Barrel, the computer is a MAC mini (2006) which I have since replaced with a shiny new one with Lion & a slew of extras, the bed I got from Baer’s but I fail to remember what brand it is but it’s HEAVY as hell, brown leopard bed spread – 500 thread count thank you very much – I got it at Ross believe it or not , the paint although much glossier than I asked for is Valspar in “Brooklyn Brownstone”, you’ve got Thai Buddha, some reading material inclusive of “Rant” signed by one Chuck Palahniuk who I met 🙂 but what you can’t see is that underneath those books are my precious Kevyn Aucoin makeup books – “Making Faces” and “Face Forward”. I still need “The Art of Makeup” just in case you were wondering what to get me for Christmas/Chanukah/Kwanza.  

By the way, I have no idea where that bag of laundry came from! That corner is always clean. Don’t judge me. lol. Hope the “zen” I was trying to achieve translates. ‘Til next time….
